Solihull Princes Trust Are Recruiting
The next Princes Trust Team Programme in Solihull is due to start in 6 working days. It’s a 12 week full time personal development course delivering 2 Level 1 qualifications and several key skills workshops. This programme is for young people aged 16-25 who are not in education or employment. This course might be just what a young person is looking for to get them a step in to paid employment.

Location Chelmsley Wood Police Station
The 2 x qualifications are:
Princes Trust Level 1 Teamwork, Employment and Community Skills
BTEC Level 1 Subsidiary Award Work Skills
Over the 12 weeks, student complete a structured programme consisting of 7 units:
Planning for Personal Development Target setting, – working towards goals and improving Professional skills such as reliability,- confidence and job search skills.
Teamwork – Students take part in a 4 day residential with the rest of the team and staff to enhance their teamwork and leadership skills
Community Project – Involving contact with local businesses, completing work for a local group in need and fundraising
Work Experience – We support the students to find a minimum 8 days’ work experience over 2 weeks
Career Planning – Including CV, interview skills, job search, matching skills to job roles and presentation skills
Team Challenge – Working with vulnerable people in the local area to enhance student awareness and professional communication
Presentation Skills – Planning and delivering a showcase of achievements at the end of the programme to an invited audience.
