Castle Bromwich Parish Council would like to express its appreciation and thanks to volunteer community litter pickers for their efforts in keeping our open spaces in a safe and pleasant state for all to enjoy.

Condolences for HRH The Prince Philip

Following the sad news of the death of HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, the Council wishes to express its sincere condolences to the Queen and the whole Royal Family.

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 regulations the planned public condolence book at Arden Hall will no longer be possible. It is also requested that floral tributes are not left, with members of the public asked to make a donation to a charity instead, should they wish.

Job Vacancy – Administrative Officer

VACANCY: ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

25 hours per week (core hours of Mon-Fri 9am – 1pm)
Salary Grade: SCP 11-14 (£11.30-£12.00)

Principal responsibility for the post holder is to support the work of the Clerk to the Council with regard to all aspects of office administration and statutory duties.

Duties include document preparation, record keeping and filing, preparation and support for salary payments and book-keeping, responding to enquiries on the telephone, in writing and in person from residents and partner organisations. The post holder must be prepared to work occasional evening and weekends for which time off will be given in lieu.

Fly-tipping on Whateley Green

Last week there was an incident of fly-tipping that the Council were looking into removing at a cost to the ratepayer. Thank you to whoever removed it before we had to.
